Arthur Rackham was an English artist and book illustrator born in Lewisham on 19th September 1867. He is widely regarded as one of the most prolific and most influential illustrators from the Golden Age of British book illustration (approx. 1890 – 1920) and his distinctive works have become highly sought after since his death, both in Britain and America. Some of the books contained within this collection are extremely hard-to-find and will provide a valuable library of reference material and wonderful illustrations.
